Bride Vision
She came to us with a single Pinterest board.
Amelia messaged us on a Tuesday afternoon, four months out from her wedding. She’d been searching for “structured satin mermaid” in five different cities and hadn’t found a single dress that felt like hers.
The vision was clear: a clean, sculpted silhouette. No lace, no shimmer, no train. Something that could move through a vineyard, sit through dinner, and dance until midnight without losing its shape.
“I knew exactly what I wanted. I just couldn’t find anyone who would actually build it for me.”
02
Design Direction
Three sketches, one decision.
During our first video consultation, Vi sketched three variations live on screen — each solving for a different priority: dramatic silhouette, ease of movement, or sculptural neckline. Within forty-five minutes, Amelia knew which one was hers.
Fabric
Italian silk-satin · 4-ply
Heavy enough to hold structure, soft enough to dance in.
Structure
Boned bodice · hidden corset
Built-in support so no separate shapewear is needed.
Hem
Floor-skim · vineyard friendly
No train. Cut to clear grass and gravel without dragging.

Process
Five months. Four fittings. All remote.
Week 0
Inquiry & consultation
Amelia sent her Pinterest board and wedding date. We scheduled a video consultation within 36 hours. Three sketches. One chosen direction. A signed scope of work and reservation deposit by end of week.
Week 2
Remote measurements
Guided 14-point measurement video, taken with her sister’s help. Two of the measurements looked unusual; we re-measured together over a quick video call. 50% production payment unlocked.
Weeks 3 – 14
Production · 4 fitting checkpoints
Calico mock-up → first fitting video → silk pattern → second fitting → bodice structure → third fitting → final stitching → fourth fitting. Each fitting was filmed in our atelier, posted to a private link, and discussed on WhatsApp.
Week 18
Final QC + shipping
Final QC video sent to Amelia: every seam, zip, and bead inspected. Balance + shipping paid. Tracked door-to-door delivery to Sydney in 4 business days.
Week 20
She wore it.

Final Result
