How It Works

Six steps from first message to your wedding day

Built for brides ordering from abroad. Each step is confirmed in writing — design direction, measurements, payment milestones, QC, and shipping — as your dress moves forward.

See the full process →

  1. 01

    Inquiry

Share your wedding date, delivery city and country, inspiration, and dress direction. No payment is required to start the conversation.

  2. 02

    Consultation & Quote

Vi reviews your style, fit concerns, and timeline, then sends a written quote with design direction, payment milestones, and what is included.

  3. 03

    Remote Fitting Review

You receive a guided measurement checklist. Measurements are reviewed before production continues.

  4. 04

    Atelier Production

Your gown moves into production, with updates on structure, fabric, lace or beading, and finishing where applicable.

  5. 05

    Final QC Review

Final QC photos or video are shared before final balance and dispatch.

  6. 06

    International Shipping

After final balance, your dress is packed for international shipping with tracking where available. Customs duties and import fees vary by destination.

Transparent payment

Pay through written milestones as your order moves forward.

Two milestones on your written quote. You review final QC before the last payment — not the other way around.

Milestone 01

Production deposit

Typically 50% of the confirmed dress order value, unless confirmed otherwise in writing. Confirms your order and places it into the production schedule.

Milestone 02

Balance + shipping

Final balance and any agreed shipping fees. Paid before dispatch, after final QC photos or video.

Payment methods may include international bank transfer (USD) and Secure Online Payment (Card Supported). Every payment request should match your written quote or invoice: invoice number, amount, currency, milestone, and official channel. Read payment safety

Why brides trust us

Trusted by brides ordering
custom wedding dresses from abroad.

Trust comes from a clear process: written checkpoints, remote fitting review, documented progress, and final QC before dispatch.

Quotes from real brides; shared with permission.

"I was nervous about ordering from Vietnam, but Vi sent progress videos. When the dress arrived in Sydney, the lace cuff matched the reference I had sent months earlier."

Amelia, Sydney · married November 2025

"The embroidery took months, and each progress photo showed the work accumulating. The beading and back closure arrived exactly as discussed."

Sofia · Ho Chi Minh City · October 2025

"They listened to the brief instead of steering me toward something safer. The measurements were checked twice before cutting."

Before you send your brief

Questions brides ask first

What should I send in my first inquiry?

Send your wedding date or month, delivery city and country, inspiration images or links, preferred silhouette, fit concerns, and any budget range you want considered.

A short brief is enough. Vi reviews feasibility before payment is discussed.

Can you work from inspiration images?

Yes. Inspiration images are used as design direction, not as an exact order request.

Vi reviews the references, fit needs, fabric direction, structure, and timeline before confirming what can be made or adjusted.

How does online custom wedding dress ordering work?

Vi reviews your brief first: silhouette, fabric direction, structure, fit needs, delivery city and country, and wedding timeline.

Next, you complete the guided measurement checklist. Fabric is not cut until remote fitting review is complete.

The dress is made at the Vietnam atelier. Progress updates are shared where useful. Final QC photos or video are shared before final balance and dispatch.

How do measurements work remotely?

You receive a guided measurement checklist and instructions for the points your gown needs.

Most brides ask someone to help measure. If a number looks inconsistent, Vi asks for a recheck, photo, short video, or clarification before production continues.

How long does production take?

Atelier production usually takes about 8–12 weeks after measurements and fit details are confirmed.

With consultation, review, QC, dispatch, and possible local alterations, international brides should usually plan around 3–5 months. Starting 4–6 months before the wedding is safer.

How is pricing quoted?

Pricing is confirmed after Vi reviews the design scope.

Silhouette, fabric, bodice structure, lace or beading, train, timeline, and shipping requirements affect the quote. The quote or quote range is confirmed in writing before any production deposit is requested.
