Katy’s
Romare Lace.
Katy ordered from Singapore on 1 May 2026 with one very specific starting point: the Romare gown by Pallas Couture. What mattered was the feeling of that gown: floral lace, a strapless bodice, the front button line, and soft volume, translated into a custom VI Dressmakers dress.
Katy was lovely and supportive, and she paid close attention to the result. I kept our updates focused on lace choice, support layers, buttons, and the overall silhouette so she could see how the dress was developing before dispatch.

Bride Vision
One clear gown. A careful brief.
Katy was not asking for a generic lace wedding dress. She wanted the custom gown to stay close to the original feeling: white lace, a strapless long-line bodice, scalloped texture, buttons through the front, and a classic bridal finish.
That kind of brief needs careful handling. I kept the designer gown clearly labelled as inspiration only, then used Katy’s feedback to check the lace, bodice, and skirt volume before moving forward.

Katy linked the Romare gown. I used it only to understand the look she loved; the finished piece is a VI Dressmakers custom gown.

Design Direction
Like the original. Premium lace confirmed.
For this dress, I kept the brief tight: floral lace, a strapless bodice, front buttons, and a skirt/train shape that did not drift away from the gown Katy loved. “Like the original” became the anchor for every visual check.

Lace checked. Then dispatched.
The process was simple on purpose: confirm the brief, show the lace and bodice placement while it was being made, complete QC, then dispatch with enough time before the wedding.

I did not treat the designer gown as a loose moodboard. I used it to check the lace, bodice line, button detail, and overall proportion while still making a VI Dressmakers custom gown.

Because Katy cared about the final look, I kept the updates centered on lace texture, bodice support, button placement, and silhouette. Her feedback helped keep the dress aligned before final QC.

The final review focused on lace texture, front button line, bodice support, and whether the finished gown still held the feeling Katy wanted.

Shipped to Singapore and delivered.
The dress shipped on 5 July 2026 and was delivered on 8 July 2026. The tracking number is treated as private order evidence, so this public case records the dates without exposing the raw tracking link.

Final Result
QC complete. Delivered before the wedding.
The QC proof shows the finished lace gown before Singapore delivery: strapless bodice, front buttons, support layers, and a full bridal silhouette shaped from Katy’s original inspiration.
Katy later shared a try-on photo, which is why this case can show the dress on her before the wedding-day album is ready. Her wedding date is 1 October 2026, so wedding-day photos will only be added after the wedding and with Katy’s permission.
